Azure Stack is Microsoft’s infrastructure for Hybrid Cloud Services. Azure Stack is designed to bring the Microsoft public Azure cloud infrastructure to private data centers. Azure Stack is a combination of Microsoft technologies including Windows Operating Environment, Software Defined Networking, Storage Spaces Software Defined Storage and the Hyper-V virtualization technologies. Azure Stack includes most of the same technologies available with the Microsoft Azure Public Cloud environment including common management interfaces and a common code base.
